Acceptance of these terms

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or place an order.

Who you’re dealing with

Big Guy Small Batch Coffee Roasters is operated by Priyankur LLC, a small-batch coffee roaster based in Virginia, USA. We sell nationally within the United States. We have no public walk-in storefront; local pickup or delivery is available only by prior arrangement.

Who can order

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to place an order — generally, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority where you live.

Product availability

We roast in small batches, so a coffee, size, or limited release shown on our site may sell out or become unavailable at any time, including after you’ve started an order. Coffee is an agricultural product, and the beans we roast today are not identical to the beans we roasted last month — batch-to-batch variation in flavor, moisture, and roast development is normal and expected, not a defect.

How we describe our coffee

Tasting notes and descriptions on our site — words like chocolate, caramel, fruit, nuts, body, acidity, or a stated roast level — describe sensory characteristics we or others perceive in the cup. They do not mean those ingredients, flavorings, or additives were added to the coffee.

Prices, taxes, and promotions

Prices are shown on our site and are subject to change without notice. Sales tax is calculated and charged at checkout based on your delivery address, where applicable. Promotional pricing, discounts, and invite-based offers are available only under the terms we state for them and may be limited, restricted, or withdrawn at our discretion.

Payment

Checkout is handled securely by Square. By placing an order, you authorize the charge for your order total, including applicable tax and shipping, to the payment method you provide to Square.

Order acceptance and cancellation by BGSB

Your order is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline. We may cancel or refuse an order — for example, if an item is unexpectedly unavailable, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if there was a pricing or listing error — and if we do, we will let you know and refund any payment already collected for that order.

Shipping and fulfillment

We ship within the United States. Our current shipping charges and any free-shipping threshold are shown at checkout and may change; see our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy for details. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address — we are not responsible for orders delayed or misdelivered because of an incorrect address you provided.

Changing or cancelling your order

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll make reasonable efforts to accommodate a change or cancellation before we start roasting or fulfillment, but we can’t guarantee a cancellation once fulfillment is already underway.

Returns

Coffee is a perishable, consumable product, so we generally do not accept physical returns. If something is wrong with your order, see our Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy for how we resolve it.

Sample Packs, invites, and promotions

Sample Packs, invite links, and promotional offers may come with quantity limits, expiration dates, eligibility conditions, and restrictions on reuse or transfer, as stated at the time of the offer. A complimentary or promotional Sample Pack has no cash value. We may cancel an invite or promotion, and decline to honor it, if we reasonably believe it is being abused, used fraudulently, or distributed without our authorization.

Subscription (Big Guy Club)

Our recurring coffee relationship is coordinated manually, not billed automatically. For each shipment, we prepare the order and send you a secure link to review exactly what’s in it and what it costs before you pay. Nothing is charged automatically and no card is stored on file for future charges — each shipment is its own payment, made through Square, only when you choose to complete it. If you want to change your coffee, size, cadence, or anything else about your subscription, contact us before paying for the next shipment.

Custom, corporate, and event orders

Favor, corporate, gift, and event orders are arranged directly with us and may carry their own terms (quantities, lead time, pricing, and cancellation terms) that we’ll agree with you before you order.

Website content and intellectual property

The text, images, logos, and other content on our site belong to BGSB or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse our site — for example, by attempting to interfere with its operation, probing or scanning it for vulnerabilities without authorization, submitting fraudulent orders or payment information, or abusing invite or promotional systems.

Third-party services

Our site relies on third-party services, including Square for payments and Google Analytics for site measurement. Those services have their own terms and policies, which we don’t control.

Website errors and availability

We try to keep our site accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and prices, descriptions, or availability shown may occasionally be wrong. We’ll do our best to fix errors we find.

No health or medical claims

Nothing on our site is intended as medical or health advice. We make no claims that our coffee treats, cures, or prevents any condition.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BGSB’s liability to you for any claim relating to our site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
